　　下了又停，停了又下，在今天这个日子里，雨也充满活力地在跟我们开玩笑；云也是，焦急地来回踱着步。

　　In this special day, the rain was enjoying playing with us, began and stopped once and once again.The clouds, which was also, moving around in the sky to celebrate this important event.

　　编辑部的成员们也早早来到操场，做好最后的设备测试。

　　Members of Ulink Focus also came to the playground early and finished the final equipment test.

　　蒙蒙细雨如丝，一洗夏日的燥热，一切都是安排得这么巧妙。

　　Drizzle, getting rid of summer heat, everything was arranged so well.

　　Ulink的运动会开幕式，红黄两只雄狮成为全场焦点。这就是Ulink，传统与现代完美融合，东方与西方兼收并蓄，散发着独一无二的香气。

　　Lion dance became the focus of the opening ceremony.This is Ulink, traditional and modern, eastern and western cultures mixed together.They were totally so unique and attractive.

　　趣味运动 Fun Sports

勺子托鸡蛋比赛，红、黄、蓝、绿四个house各派出了男生女生和老师，随着“Three，two，one”的倒数声结束，大家立刻健步如飞，一边加快速度，一边护着手中勺子上的鸡蛋。每一队的两侧，老师、同学们在给比赛的选手们加油，或是大声加油，或是挥动手中的道具，所有人的目光都紧紧锁定赛场上你追我赶的激烈角逐。最终，Blue House旗开得胜，获得了第一名。赛场上欢呼声尖叫声响彻一片。

The second event was The Egg &spoon race. There are boys, girls and teachers from each house taking part in it. After thevoice ‘Three, two, one’, they started running and took care of the egg at thesame time. Teachers and students from each house cheered for them. In the end,Blue House won. Everyone in Blue House screamed.

　　“袋鼠跳”接力赛。这个可是需要团队合作的游戏，两位同学蹲下来帮助队友把麻袋放好才能开始游戏！

The first event is Sack relay race. Sports players put the sack on the leg then jump to the next student.

扳手腕大赛也是师生齐上阵，赢得喝彩声不断。

The arm wrestling competition also won applause constantly.

　　两人三足、活力球接力，一场一场的集体趣味运动比赛，让全场沸腾，进入运动会的高潮！

　　The THREE-LEGGED RELAY and HOOPER BALL RELAY make everyonehappy and excited.

在全天项目即将结束的时候，拔河比赛再次点燃全场的热情！同学们奋勇拼搏、齐心协力，使出全身的力气拉着绳子，火红的跑道上，四种颜色的身影闪烁着团结与争先的光芒。绿队的最终胜利也标志着今年Ulink运动会的告一段落。

　　By the end of the Sports Day, the TUG OF WAR competition burned ourhearts again. Everyone in the team tried their best to win the competition.After the results coming out, Green House won and the Sports Day had beenalmost over.

　　球类运动 Ball games

　　天气到了下午已经是晴空万里，排球赛如期展开。所有人都各司其职，运动员们在排球场上挥洒着汗水打着配合，观众们也都奋力为自己的HOUSE呐喊。结果自然是有输有赢，可大家仍然是那么亲密的朋友。

　　The volleyball competition started on time. Everyone was on their own position. The players worked as a team with sweats and all the audiences cheered up the players who are in the same house with them strenuously. The results showed the winner and the losers, but the players were still the close friends with each other.

　　Oriko:大家好好玩，好好享受。我们也可以从这次运动会中学到很多东西，比如团队合作。友谊第一，比赛第二。

　　I hope that everyone can have fun and enjoy it. We can learn a lot of things from this sport day such as teamwork. The competition is not the most important, our friendship is the most important thing.

　　篮球罚球比赛也拉开了序幕。一个个篮球在空气中划出一道一道完美的弧线。三分球赛以及3V3篮球赛也是精彩至极。这时候，输赢早已失去了意义，重要的只是努力，自豪以及团结。

　　The basketballs created so many beautiful curves. The basketball 3 point competition and the basketball 3V3 competition were very attractive as well. Winner or loser was not important at all. The effort, pride and solidarity took roots in everyone’s heart.

IRVING：Basketball is my favourite sport.I always watch many legendary player playing games from TV, and I often observe their shot gesture and imitate them. As a player, If you only practice in basketball court, that is not enough for you to beat others, so I spend much time in gym to practice muscles and jump ability. That is necessary for a excellent player.

篮球是我最喜欢的运动。我一直会在电视上看一些传奇球员的视频，我也经常会观察他们的头球姿势并且效仿。作为一名球员，如果你只在篮球场上锻炼是远远不够打败其他人的，所以我花了很多时间在健身房去锻炼肌肉和弹跳能力。这对于一名极佳的球员是必须的。

　　在普通学校非常少见的橄榄球比赛也不少同学都有了兴趣。这也是Ulink作为一所国际学校的特别之处。

　　The American football attracted a lot of people as well because this sport is not common in normal schools.This is one of the special points which represent Ulink.

　　羽毛球，乒乓球，网球和足球这几项再经典不过的项目也让很多同学都跃跃欲试。

　　Both badminton，table tennis ， tennis and football are so classical that a lot of students are interested in.

Ulink Focus了解到，很多同学为了参加运动会，放学之后会花很多时间去练习，跟同学互相切磋球技，提高自己。也会和小组成员一起练习打配合，互相提高打球技术、培养彼此之间的默契。 在球员们的心中，只要努力没什么做不到！

　　Reporters from Ulink Focus learned that many students spent a lot of time practicing after school to participate in the Sports Day. They learn from each other and improve themselves. Team members also practiced together.

　　下午三点左右，60米、120米和60米接力比赛正式打响。

　　This afternoon, there were the 60 metre race,120 meter race and the relay race of 60 meter.

　　用离弦之箭一词修饰在合适不过了。选手们你追我赶，不分上下，尽管中途中也有摔倒等意外发生，可是一次又一次，他们勇敢地爬了起来，不曾放弃，继续前进。

　　The athletes rushed out as soon as the refree whistled.They chase and speed up one moment in time.Although some students fell down during the race,none of them give up running.What they actually do is stand up and keep going.

　　终极对决

不同于传统运动会多是学生参与，在Ulink的赛场上师生们一起为House呐喊助威，很多老师也加入比赛。这给了同学们一次极好了解老师的机会。

Unlike other traditional school,in the sports meeting of Ulink,a lot of teachers joined the game as well as the students.What is more,there are small and especial competion between teachers.This is a wonderful chance for our students to get a better understanding of the teachers.

几个教不同科目的老师站在了同一起跑线上，换上了运动装，印象最深刻莫过于Jackson 了。随着裁判的哨声响起，他第一个冲了出去，把其他老师甩在了后面，霸气十足。Jackson老师平时非常耐心并尊重同学的想法，而今天他却也是一名出色的运动员。他参加了几乎所有的比赛！

When they shift the suit they always have on,it feels like the teachers are more likely to be our partner in the matches.Jackson is always a humorous teacher.He is very patient and he respect his students' idea.But today,all the students find him a great runner.He was the first one to rush out.He joined almost all the games.

　　这一天，激情与热情碰撞出喷薄的火焰，使天公也为我们驱散阴沉细雨，带来普照阳光。

　　此时此刻，突然想到了所有的运动员们。我们所能看到的，只是他们在运动场上的潇洒身影，所能感受到的，也只是他们带给我们轰轰烈烈的热情。

　　而他们，为了这次运动会，付出了多少努力？也许正是在无人的傍晚，在和脸颊一样红的夕阳中，他们笑着，无惧地奔跑着，这个世界，在这个时候，是属于他们的。

　　听不见风的呼啸，看不见夜色的逐渐低沉，眼中的，只有下一步就能跨到的终点线。汗水滴落在操场，操场上的草也为他们喝彩。

　　Suddenly, I thought about the athletes.The only thing we can see, is just how handsome they are at the playground.The only thing we can feel, is how great the passion they give us.I was thinking that how much effort they had put into this sports day, ten degrees or eight?The pair of four sports shoes, was the shadows of the four athletes.We can image their running figures at nightfall, in the shining of the falling sun.This world, at this moment, was totally belonged to them.They just running in the hope of reaching the final line, they cannot even hear the shout of the wind, see the dark of the sky.With the sweat falling down to the playground, the grass is also cheering for them.

　　很想写一些话来赞美他们默默的努力，但随着整个运动会持续了整整一天，我还是决定把这些话都咽下去吧。他们努力的时候根本不需要赞美，也不需要鼓励，只需要在运动场上，能够自信的笑着，就足够了。

　　I really wanted to praise them, but I thought I can just keep these words in mind since they don’t need any encouragement at all.The only thing they need is a confident smile, this is enough at all.
